Pop-Up Exhibition
De Nieuwe Editie is a nomadic gallery based in Groningen that brings people together through art and food. For their presence at the Noorderzon festival, I was asked to create a bright, graphic identity that captured the energy of a temporary pop-up space. My role was to design an adaptable system that communicates both the social and creative character of the collective.

The identity was built around a bold burst motif, combined with two intertwining lines that symbolize the connection between art and food. The system is flexible, made of separate elements that can be duplicated, rearranged, and reimagined across different formats. Three colorways were developed, with pink as the central tone to reflect the brand’s core identity. Typography is kept flat and clear, ensuring legibility and balance with the graphic forms while allowing the playful visual language to take the lead.
